Dr. Carolyn
Helbert-Green has been in private practice since 1987.
She is a board certified therapeutic optometrist with many years
of experience in comprehensive eye examinations, treatment for
ocular injuries and diseases, and with prescribing and fitting
eyeglasses and contact lenses for all ages. She routinely assists
with LASIK, cataract, and other surgeries for her patients.
Dr. Green, as she is
also known, is also a consultant for and conducts investigational
contact lens and dry eye studies
for Alcon Laboratories, Ciba Vision, and Bausch & Lomb.
In Dr. Helbert-Green's
spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family traveling,
reading and watching her children participate in activiteis
such as gymnastics, choir, baseball and drumline with GHS.
She is active in her church, Colleyville United Methodist Church.
In addition, she is active with the Colleyville Chamber of
Commerce participating in the DBU business series, Friday networking
group and Colleyville Business Expo. She is an avid supporter
of the local school districts and participates in donations
for educational events.

Tarrant County Optometric Association Dr. Helbert-Green's background
and experience as an optometrist include practicing with an
opthamology group in central Texas and beginning the eye clinic
services at Kaiser Permanente in Fort Worth, Texas. Following
this she worked for thirteen years in private practice in Las
Colinas, Texas at Las Colinas Vision Center. Dr. Green's ultimate
professional goal has been realized by the opening of Colleyville
Vision Associates, her own practice in Colleyville, Texas, providing
vision correction services for friends and neighbors as well
as for her patients throughout the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex.

Our optician, David
Hilario, is a second generation optician, comes with many years
of experience with optical products and patient care as well,
and is skilled at finding the best fit for you as you select
eyeglass frames for your daily wear, sports activities and
sunglasses.
He can also provide bilingual service for our Spanish-speaking
patients as he speaks Spanish fluently.
David served in the Marines, 3rd Battalion, 1st Regiment,
in Operation Iraqi Freedom 2004-2005 and is thankfully back
with us. He unfortunaetly lost some fellow comrades while in
Fallujah and personally received a Purple Heart. We are
thankful for his service!
